Wanted for the manslaughter of Ahmed Jabber Kareem who was drowned after being beaten and forced into a river at gunpoint by Guardsmen Martin McGing, Colour Sergeant Carle Selman, Lance Corporal James Cooke and Guardsman Joseph McCleary, in Baghdad, Iraq in May 2003. At the subsequent British Army whitewash trial despite the evidence of witnesses all four defendants were found not guilty by General Michael Hunter on legal grounds.
